Certified Wireless Network ProfessionalCWNP

The wireless network market continues to grow. Properly trained and certified individuals are needed to make networks secure, cost-effective, and reliable.

The CWNP certification series focuses solely on wireless LAN knowledge from beginner to expert providing the necessary skills to properly implement and maintain wireless LANS. The CWNP Program has four levels of certification to allow student customers to pursue as much knowledge about wireless networking as they need, including the critical area of wireless security.

The four certification levels include:

CWNA - Certified Wireless Network Administrator
CWSP - Certified Wireless Security Professional
CWNI -
Certified Wireless Network Integrator
CWNE -
Certified Wireless Networking Expert

CWNA
Certified Wireless Network Administrator

It is estimated that there will be more than 151,000 wireless hotspots by the year 2005. The wireless network market continues to grow because of the additional productivity that wireless network access brings to any organization.CWNA is the foundation level wireless LAN certification for the industry standard CWNP Program, and is your starting point for wireless training and certification. CWNA covers a broad range of wireless LAN topics focused on 802.11 wireless technology rather than specific vendors' products.
By choosing CWNA training and certification, you will become prepared to administer any wireless LAN, no matter which vendors' products are used.

CWSP
Certified Wireless Security Professional

Wireless security training is critical for today's wireless LANs. As wireless LANs explode in popularity and implementation, so does the need for securing these networks. The Certified Wireless Security Professional™ (CWSP™) certification builds on the foundation of wireless LAN knowledge from the CWNA certification by educating the candidate about the security threats to and weaknesses of wireless LANs. The main topics of this course and the certification exam are hardware, software, protocols, procedures, and design techniques used in reducing wireless LAN security risks. Wireless Security Certification & Training is an essential step in developing your expertise in wireless

CWNI
Certified Wireless Network Integrator

By earning the Certified Wireless Network Integrator (CWNI?) credential, network engineers and administrators demonstrate that they have the advanced skills necessary to administer, install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise wireless network systems. The skills that will be tested above and beyond advanced levels of the subject areas covered on the CWNA exam include WLAN switching, and indoor/outdoor Enterprise wireless design and deployment. The main focus of CWNI is to have the test candidate to be skilled in transitioning independent wired and wireless networks into a single cohesive unit that supports seamless connectivity, acceptable user experiences, strong security, flexible mobility, and a wide range of application support. A solid understanding of both wireless and wired networks is essential to successfully passing the CWNI exam.

CWNE
Certified Wireless Networking Expert

The Certified Wireless Networking Expert (CWNE™) credential is the final step in the CWNP program. By successfully completing the CWNE examination, network engineers and administrators will have demonstrated that they have the most advanced skills available in today's wireless LAN market. Passing this exam assures that the individual has mastered all relevant skills to administer, install, configure, troubleshoot, and design wireless network systems. Packet analysis, intrusion detection, performance analysis, and advanced design are some of the areas of expertise for a CWNE. An in-depth understanding of both wireless and wired network technology is essential to successfully passing the CWNE exam.
